Aid for Public Charging Infrastructure
Support for Rural Service Stations :
- A 10 million euro fund for small, independent rural service stations.
- Objective: Increase the accessibility of charging points in rural areas.
- Period: Until the end of June 2024.
ADVENIR Program for Public and Residential Spaces :
- Financial assistance for the installation of public and private charging stations.
- Target: Collective residential spaces and roads.
Increase in the Support Rate for Electrical Connection :
- TURPE offers coverage of 40% to 75% of costs for certain public installations.
- Valid until 2025.
TIRUERT Incentive Tax for Renewable Energy :
- Encourages the use of green electricity for public terminals.
- Advantages: Improved profitability and partial coverage of operating costs.
Help for the Installation of Home Charging Stations
ADVENIR Support for Residential Installations :
- Assistance with the installation of terminals in private homes and collective residences.
Tax Credit for Individuals :
- Reimbursement of 75% of acquisition and installation costs, capped at €500.
Reduced VAT for Domestic Installations :
- A VAT rate reduced to 5.5% for installation and maintenance.

Some regions complete the system
Many French regions are putting in place support schemes to encourage the installation of electric charging stations.
City of Paris
The City of Paris offers assistance of 50% of the tax-free amount for the pre-equipment linked to the installation of an electrical terminal of up to €4,000. Trustees and social landlords who wish to install charging stations for residents or visitors benefit from assistance of 50% of the price of the work, i.e. €500 per charging point.
The Normandy region
The Normandy region offers micro-enterprises, individuals and associations assistance of 30% of the amount excluding tax for the purchase and installation of an electric charging station. The maximum ceiling of the aid amount is €15,000 per community during the purchase of a new electric car. To benefit from this aid, you must reside in Normandy. You will not be eligible for this aid if you previously benefited from the IDEE Action Sustainable Mobility scheme.
The Grand Est region
For the Grand Est region, companies have the possibility of benefiting from a subsidy of 50% of the cost excluding tax of the installation project with a maximum ceiling of €1000 per charging point. Only infrastructures that comply with the technical criteria of the Advenir national program are eligible and the infrastructures must be accessible to staff during working hours.
